Khao Kheow Open Zoo is amoung several government zoo in Thailand. Located in a beautiful and pleasant environment near Pattaya, it is a place everybody in the family can go to enjoy, relax and learn about its nature and wildlife. It may take a full day to explore the zoo, but most visitor who have been there would have more time to spend there. The zoo occupies an area of more than 144 sq.km, comprising a mountainous terrain covered by a dense rain forest. Many interesting programs are provided in various zones such as athe Animal Show, After Dark, Butterfly Garden, Cats Complex, Walk Through Aviary, Eld's Deer Park and African Savanna.
