By Car

From Bangkok
Take Highway No.4 passing through Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, and Ranong, a total distance of 788 kms. The trip takes about 12 hours.

From Phuket
Use Highway No.402 passing Sarasin Bridge, Khok Kloi District and turn right to Takua Thung District. It takes about 1 hours and the distance is 87 kms.

By Bus

Air-conditioned buses leave the Southern Bus Terminal on Borommaratcha Chonnani Road for Phang-nga every day. Most buses leave in the evening and the journey takes about 12 hours.

By Train

There is no direct train to Phang-nga. You have to take a train to Surat Thani (about 13 hours) and then change to a bus to Phang-nga for another 2 hours.

By Air

There is no airport in Phang-nga. The nearest airport to Phan-nga is Phuket, which is serviced by numerous Thai and international carriers. From Phuket, you can take a bus, rent a car, or take a taxi to Phang-nga, around 90 km. away.

It is also possible to fly to Krabi, and then rent a car or take a mini bus to Phang-nga, an approximately 2 hour trip.

Getting to / from Nearby Provinces

There are non air-con and air-con bus services between Phang-nga and some major southern provinces, i.e. Phuket, Krabi, Surat Thani, Hat Yai (Songkhla), Ranong, Trang and Satun.
