Area A covers a slightly
larger area than the map of Rattanakosin Island. However, it is easier
to find sightseeing spots on the map
of Rattanakosin Island than the map of Area A. Therefore, for
those who aim at sightseeing, the map of Rattanakosin Island is the
better alternative. And as sightseeing spots are concentrated in this
area, walking
tours are a popular activity among tourists. The Temple of the
Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) and the Grand Palace, the two most
visited places in Thailand, are also situated in this area.
