Friendship
Beach Waterfront Resort, a newly renovated vacation resort haven,
is located in the quiet southern area of Phuket Island on the waterfront
of Chalong Bay. Friendship Beach is removed from the hustle and
bustle of the usual frantic tourist spots located a few kilometres
away, this vacation resort offers a respite from daily activities
and local night life. It is private, secure and pleasurable and

Hardly a moment goes by that there is not some activity on the beach;
horse riding in the sand, Thai fishermen casting their nets, long-tail

the tidal pools.

lodging beach resort oasis that will enhance and compliment your
holiday activities be they scuba diving, snorkelling, yachting,
sport fishing, windsurfing, para-sailing sightseeing or shopping.
At Friendship Beach you can relax and enjoy outstanding Thai and
Western cuisine (no MSG), long private walks along ten kilometres
of unspoiled beach, sit and watch the ever changing scene of colour
and light, enjoy the extraordinary bird life and boating activity.
Accommodations
are either bungalows or rooms. The bungalows are spacious and offer
everything a western home offers and are designed for long term
stays but can be occupied for a short term minimum stay of 4 days.
The rooms, catering to short term guests, have all been recently
renovated and are very comfortable. All accommodations have TV,
air conditioning or fan, phone.

& Bungalows – Standard
for all units: internet wi-fi, air conditioning, TV, telephone,
hot water showers. Far above the standard for Thai accommodations,
the units are clean, comfortable and close to the pool and beach.
All units are new or have been remodeled recently and are reasonably
priced. Some have a private garden, walk-in closet. Most units have
Bali style baths.
The modest exteriors don’t adequately
reflect the inside graciousness; however, they blend nicely with
the landscaping and feeling of the resort. Special care has been
taken to provide the most comfortable surroundings, both inside
and outside, and are decorated in a Thai / Western theme.

Pool Recently completed, the large and dramatic swimming
area is built for all ages: those who want to do laps have
ample room to manoeuvre; children have their own safe area
for play which is removed from the deeper portion; those
desirous of relaxing may enjoy the gentle spa jets massaging
their back or sitting under the waterfall and enjoying the
sounds of gently flowing water - a world of your own.
You will find both sunbathers and diners relaxing around
the pool. It is a focal point of the landscape and augments
nicely the ocean which is only a few steps away. |

 Cuisine
Eclectic is the best description for the cuisine served at
Friendship Beach Bungalow Resort. A wide variety of authentic
Thai, American and European entrees are the stable of the
menu with daily specials headlining the list.
Fresh produce and fruits are purchased from the market on
a daily basis to assure the diner the finest quality possible.
Sea products are from the daily catch. The variety is endless.
The chef is renown in
America and recently moved to Thailand to share his talents
with the industry and for a change of lifestyle. He is competent
in all forums of style and capable of pleasing the most
pressing critic. The most often comment from patrons is,
“awesome, we will be back.”
Looking for a venue for weddings, birthday
or other celebrations? We can handle special occasion parties
up to 300.
To add to the dining experience, you
may request a table poolside or by the ocean. For quality,
price, variety, as well as presentation, you can’t beat
dining at Friendship Beach.

Bar, Drinks and Cocktails |

Beach
Bar The Beach Bar is fully stocked and caters to every
occasion. The staff is very friendly and capable of mixing
most any drink. Should you not
find your favourite libation on the menu, the bartender
will create it to your liking. However, first you may want
to try some of the Beach Bar specials: Sex on the Beach,
Beach Bum or Son of a Beach. Located next to the
pool and 2 steps from the beach, it is a favourite gathering
place for the islanders in the afternoon and early evening.
Each day the panoramic view of the setting sun and beach
activity is truly breathtaking. |
