| Mount Doi Chiang Dao |
Mount Doi Chiang Dao is the third highest
mountain of the country with a height of 2,195 metres
above average sea level. Why should you see the sea
of mist here? This is because when you are at the mountain
top you will have a superb 360° panoramic view.
While the puffy mist circles the mount you stand on,
it is just like you are on cloud nine.

And since reaching
the top of Mount Doi Chiang Dao is a 7-hour arduous
walk which not only requires a determined mind but also
a strong body, not many people go there to enjoy the
sea of mist. So it is not crowded. What's more, if you
go there at the right time, chances are you can see
frost. You have to stay overnight there and don't forget
to bring a tent.
