National Museum
Located within walking distance of the Grand Palace, the museum ground consists of an old palace and several Thai-style buildings of architectural beauty. Inside it houses Thailand's artistic treasures from prehistoric to contemporary, making it a great place to appreciate Thai arts.
   


Royal Barges Museum
Get closer to the charming dugouts and appreciate their charming features.The eleborately crafted royal barges to be used in royal ceremonial processions are kept and exhibited in sheds on a tributary of the Chao Phraya River. The most significant and stunning one is the king's royal barge, Suphannahong with a figurehead of the head of a mythical bird.
   
Thai Human Imagery Museum

King Prajadhipok Museum_2
King Prajadhipok Museum
The neo-classic building constructed in 1906 serves as the first monarchic museum that applies modern technology. The museum exhibits a collection of King Rama VII's personal belongings, photographs, documents and biography of Thailand's first constitutional monarch.
   


The Museum of the 5th Festival of
Arts of the Kingdom

The splendid results of the 5th Festival of Arts of the Kingdom held in late December 2007 has led to the permanent exhibtion of the masterpieces of Chitralada Arts and Crafts Centre under H.M. the Queen's Royal Patronage. This museum is located in The Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall.

Bang Khunphrom Palace

This fine architecture, originally a royal residence of Prince Baripatra has been turned to offices of several organisations and finally become the Bank of Thailand National Museum featuring the prince’s life, the history of the central bank and Thai and foreign currencies.
   


Museum of Siam

Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall
Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, a brand new tourist attraction on the Rattanakosin Island, is an interactive self learning centre with state-of-the-art multimedia technologies giving information on history, arts and culture of the Rattanakosin era (since 1782). Each exhibition room represents a part of the grandeur of Rattanakosin.
   

The Erawan Museum
The most astonishing landmark of Samut Prakan Province is perhaps the Erawan Museum. Hidden underneath the colossal three-headed elephant statue (250 tons in weight, 20 metres high and 39 metres long) standing on the pink pedestal is a 3-storey museum housing numerous priceless antiques and religious objects.
