City Pillar Shrine
The City Pillar Shrine contains a wooden pillar erected by King Rama I in 1782 to represent the founding of the capital.

Vimanmek Mansion

Joe Louis Theatre

Khamthieng House

It is an ancient town founded by King Mengrai in the late 13th century.

  Ban Rai Phai Ngam Cotton Weaving Village
It is where cotton cloth woven in the old style has long been produced. At present the weavers' central gathering place is the home of the late National Artist, Mrs. Saengda Bansit, who had imparted her knowledge about the weaving process to the villagers. More details
Bo Sang Umbrella Village
View young women in traditional costumes hand-paint silk and cotton umbrellas in various animal and floral designs. There are also craft shops selling various northern Thai handicrafts. More details
San Kamphaeng Cotton & Silk Weaving Village
This famous village is the major production centre of Thai silk and cotton.
The good quality fabrics are woven by local folk on traditional wooden looms and are available in a wide variety of patterns. More details

Hua Hin Railway Station
This is one of the oldest railway stations in Thailand. Its unique feature, the red and white pavilion formerly served as the Royal Waiting Room, was renovated and moved to be settled at Hua Hin Railway Station.

Old Buildings

Monument of the Two Heroines
The monument comprises two statues of women standing side by side which were the two heroine sisters of Phuket -- Thao Thep Krasattri and her sister Thao Si Sunthon. The sisters courageously rallied islanders to repel Burmese invaders in 1785. More details
Thalang National Museum
Built in a southern architectural style, the museum exhibits the Battle of Thalang, the way of life, culture and history of Phuket and the South. There is also an exhibition of antiques, ancient artefacts and remains discovered on the Andaman Coast. It is an ideal place for history-oriented tourists.

Saphan Hin Mining Monument
It was built in 1978 to commemorate the first metal ore-dredger used in Thailand, introduced by Australian Captain Edward Thomasmile in 1909. With the large ground in this area and shady pine trees, it is frequented by townspeople in the evening. More details
